Just because you are on a boat, there is no reason for you to have to compromise. Our kitchen units are produced locally, the Midlands being one of the leading areas for the manufacture of said items. We can source traditional styles in natural wood, or latest contemporary shiny slab finishes in neutral or bold colours, alternatively if you require something in between then we can show you an extensive selection from the manufacturer’s catalogue, then source you samples so you are sure that the items you picked on paper look even better in reality.
All our cabinets arrive assembled for us to tailor into your kitchen layout. This means that they are robust and hard wearing. Interior shelves have edging strips and doors have soft closures.
We can also offer storage solutions for cupboards and drawers, including magic corners, cutlery and plate tidies and lift out racks for tall cupboards.
The popularity of granite worktops is brought over to the narrow boat and the method of application is just the same. Your units and appliances are fitted and then a template taken to ensure that the granite will precisely fit.
Alternatively if you like a stone worktop but want something different to granite, then we can review with you other natural stone options.
For a more traditional look you may prefer wood, again not a problem.
Or there is melamine, the old Formica finish associated with this now long gone, as melamine is available in an array of textures and colours and offers a cost effective, highly practical solution in a working kitchen.
All the modern appliances that you are familiar with at home can now be incorporated into your narrow boat, including a separate freezer, separate washing machine and tumble dryer and even a mini dishwasher.
Cooking is via LPG gas cooker and even these can be split level or 900mm range style, available in colours to match your décor or stainless with matching canopy.
Sinks can either be an integral feature of the work top, either single or twin or for a really practical yet gorgeous look there is the Belfast. Usually client opt for mixer taps to finish the contemporary look that they have selected but if a more traditional farmhouse style kitchen has been selected then we can finish it off with good old fashioned separate hot and cold taps.
